A Glimpse of an African Sunday...

These pictures were from last week.
Out of necessity, I was trying to be discreet,
hence the reason there are not any pictures of the service. :o)

Thanks for sharing those pictures. I would love to see more of where you live and your life there. The villages and things like that.

Also, in your daughter's picture, what was that on the ground under the tree?

Thanks Kristi for commenting. The "things" under the tree in my daughter's picture are marula fruit from the marula tree - imagine that! :o) This African fruit is used for everything from juice to jelly to alcohol to insecticide. You can buy the juice in the store right next to apple juice and mango juice. It sort of tastes like a cross between litchi and mango!

Wow, from jelly to insecticide. Now that's an amazing fruit. Thanks for sharing that. :)
